Here at Sigma Phi Epsilon KY Beta, we have 104 men striving to be the best they can possibly be- on all fronts. As chapter president, it is my never-ending goal to remind my brothers that a complete college experience is one met with new experiences and investment in those around them. Whether it be serving our university, our brothers, or our community, the men of this chapter understand what it means to be a servant, and what it means to be a man. During my college years, I have had the absolute privilege of comforting my brothers in times of sorrow, celebrating in times of achievement, persevering in times of failure, and encouraging in times of doubt. The mindfulness and emotional intelligence of the men that comprise KY Beta is the key to our never-ending support of one another, and the reason we have achieved an honorable reputation among our university staff and peers.
Our chapter is happy to boast many accomplishments, including the achievement of a Buchanan Cup in 2019 (SigEp’s most prestigious award possible), 4-time intramural champions at the University of Louisville, a cumulative GPA of 3.38, and over $60,000 raised in philanthropic dollars in the past year. These are the most notable of a long list of accolades the men in this chapter have worked to gain. Diversity of personality, background, and thought is the key to what allows us to succeed in so many areas, and is something we pride ourselves in. We are happy to have achieved these awards, but we are still continuously improving.
We had a very successful 2019, and look with optimistic excitement towards seeing the rest of 2020 unfold. The possibilities are endless, and we would love to have your support along the way!
With Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love,
John Wolfe
